About LWW

Welcome to "Love Without Walls," a brand new community dedicated to the thoughts and efforts of artists, poets, and authors throughout DeviantArt who can and have touched on the relationships between gay and lesbian couples.

Love Without Walls was born from the desire to take all the good things to be had from yaoi/yuri, shounen/shoujo-ai, and homoerotica and bring them together into a community that can express all of these things without heeding any lables, specifications, or style genres that often splits all these things into different titles. Here, we simply go by what we see or read in homoerotica - the concept that two people are in love with each other. As long as you have that, you shouldn't need anything else, after all!

As with most communities, LWW is willing to accept any and all members that apply, however, we are also equipped with a list of rules for members to commit to. No one here is set out to make this community too terribly difficult, of course, and we will only do what we deem necessary. This isn't meant to be a totalitarian establishment, after all!

Rules of LWW

1.) Members who commit to LWW openly and shamelessly convict that they find beauty in gay and lesbian situations. Basically, you're not just here to answer to any perverted urges, but you find something sincere and natural about such situations. It also means that you aren't ashamed to admit anything about these feelings, because there is nothing to be embarassed about.

2.) Except to abide by the standards of submissions set by DeviantArt admins, LWW is perfectly willing to accept any level of erotica as deemed acceptable by DeviantArt. No unabashedly obvious porno, and certainly nothing over NC-17. Remember, this is the internet, and moreso this is DA, which is entirely public. We still need to be willing to respect the viewing public.

3.) The Staff of LWW are the sole holders of the LLW login password. Any member wishing to submit any art, prose, or poetry must submit their piece to the staff. It will be reviewed, and if deemed acceptable, will be submitted under the LWW login name with full credit given to the artist in the description. If you have any comments you'd like to leave with your piece, leave those comments in the note or email with your artwork.

4.) Please mark your association with LLW in your signature either as an icon link or a text link.

Q: I don't draw or write any homoerotica, but I still want to join LWW!
A: That's fine! Member association is just as acceptable and valued as submission members. Your posts on the LWW Deviant Comments or comments on submissions are appreciated if you do not wish to submit anything yourself.

A: Then go away. No one here is interested in being told they're wrong for thinking there's no right or wrong way to love a person. You ought to be thanking gays and lesbians for their role in worldwide population control, after all!
